PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company, located in Liaoyang, Liaoning Province, is a large-scale integrated petrochemical enterprise under PetroChina. Its predecessor, the Liaoyang Petrochemical Fiber General Plant, was approved in 1972 and began construction in 1974; it officially commenced production in 1983.
